Please pray for my friend..

A guy I have known for three years, a solid player and a solid friend, was diagnosed with colon cancer last week - he had surgery to remove the mass last Friday. I called his nephew to check his progress today, and he told me he was still hospitalized because the suturing on his intestines came apart and they had to go in again, which could have killed him if it would have gone unchecked.

If any of you attend mass, synagogue, service, whatever this weekend, please keep G in your prayers. Thank you.

My grandmother died of that, exactly - not the cancer, but after the surgery. My prayers are with your friend.

Turned 50 this year.

I was 33 when I had my first colon resection. Does it look like they've got the problem he had fixed? It's mentaly tough when you have a setback like that, but he'll come thru it just fine!!

I'm sure all of you who have been affected know of this site, but I helped to build and design it: C3: Colorectal Cancer Coalition . A golfing buddy's wife had colon cancer two years ago and it's affected both of their lives. She's clean now (for now), but it still has had a big affect.
