Other than golf I have another time consuming hobby. A few years ago I found an old 1968 John Deere garden tractor. That is how the fever started. I have since restored tha tractor and started on another. Actually two more. The first is a 1974 110 I use for mowing. The other is a 1967 112 with hudraulics. It is still being restored. I have also gotten attached to a forum about these tractors. You guys will have to check it out. Alot like this place. www.weekendfreedommachines.com
I have alos attached some pictures of two of my herd. It would be nice to see what you guys have!

I have an '87 JD 216. That Kohler just keeps a runnin'.

I've spent most of my life golfing - the rest I've just wasted.

Thats a good looking 216. I am glad there are more people that love JD L&G;'s.

we had a 110 years ago... kept kickin out of 2nd gear... we live on a pretty steep hillside, with a 6' stone wall that drops into the road at the bottom... I think you know where this is going....

Nice Tractors. Reminds me of the 110 I had in the late 1990's. I can't remember if it was a '72 or '74 model but it was a hell of a machine after my buddy and I got done restoring it. That old cast iron 8hp Kohler was as tough as nails. We also rebuilt/restored a bunch of other Deeres...110,112,111(yuck),214's,212,318,322,332....all nice machines. I loved the 322 and hated whichever one had the big vibrating single cylinder ONAN. THat may have been one I forgot to mention....216?
