cci forged or srixon i701 tour

i know a lot of people here play cci forged irons...from what i gather they are a great club...just wondering if there is anyone here gaming srixon sticks...particularly the i701 tours. would love some feedback, even better if anyone who has hit both can chime in

I've hit the CCi's and they were amazing. I thought I wasnt good enough to play them but I was an IDIOT for not buying them. God I drool over them every time I see them or hear them mentioned now.

thats what prompted the post....hoping to get out to golfsmith this week...pretty sure one of these two will be in my bag by next weekend's round. the macgreggor pro-c or m/c combo could impress me too, we'll just see how it goes. three sets of forged players irons for $350 or less...great time to make the jump in my opinion

I have not hit the srixons but I did hit the cci forged a few weeks ago, when it was down to the cci's vs the mp57's for me..

The cci's were money, they felt really really nice when hit solid, I think you will like those, but definitely go to GS and compare the two.

I'm thinking about jumping on the bandwagon and picking up a cheap set in the offseason here as well.... I'm a gear ••••• I guess.

I'm torn between the CCi, AP1, i701s, and these macgreggor pros! I think I'm gonna hit up the AP1s but not sure.

went with the cci forged. a local golf shop had the same 350 price, and i sure do like supporting small businesses, so i pulled the trigger...oh yeah and they felt great.

only issue i forsee myself having is i'm going from a regular uniflex light true temper shaft to dg s300's....and my driver and hybrids are regular graphite shafts. i think reshafting might be in order soon, so i'm not all over the place with driver

Before I bought new irons, I hit the Nike CCI forged numerous times. They feel great when struck and are good looking at address. Have not hit the Srixon's thought. There have been numerous great reviews for both irons so I don't think you can go wrong with either. Good luck!

The Nike CCi Forged irons are one of the most workable irons to this day...The cavity gives it just enough forgiveness that seperates it from being a hard feely player's blade. I heard from many though that you get punished for hits way off center but if you hit is near or on the center most of the time, it's heavenly. Stewart Cink and Lucas Glover don't want to change them and I wouldn't either if they won me a major...lol...I could have gotten these irons for 180 on 3balls but I chickened out... =( Other than my love for the CCis...The Srixons are much more forgiving and they are really cheap at golfsmith right now.
