Thank you very much for sharing this! This is very interesting. I've come to see that Callaway is the dominant club in the scene of college golf as well. I was very shocked when they performed the least effective for me out of all the clubs I had chosen. I want to try the 22s with a graphite shaft but I will keep in mind that I've always been a steel. Again, thank you!!!

Is steel your preference? If it is, you could always go with a lightweight steel shaft, like the True Temper Dynalite.

Definitely consider different shaft options, including the lightweight steel that CJ just mentioned. At the U.S. Women’s Amateur, most players using Callaway Tours had various Project X shafts, usually at 5.0 flex.

As a person who switched irons this spring, I noticed that there are lots of excellent iron models out there. I’m sure there are several iron models which would work well for you. In the end, we pick the one from the finalists that “feels best.”

If you are looking at blades, cleveland makes some pretty sweet ones. The CG1 gunmetal blades are pretty sweet and the CG Tours look pretty nice, although I've never hit them. But as a cleveland player for some time now I would imagine their blades are made w/ the same precision their other clubs are. Good luck w/ the search.
