went to the range tonight and hit a Stiff r7460TP 9.5*
my current driver is a regular shaft titleist 975JVS 10.5* and i really didnt notice any difference in the shafts.. i didnt even really hit the r7 much farther.. i was wondering if maybe the different loft/shaft stiffness combined may have canceled out any possible distance changes?

absolutely. I was demo'ing the 905R with the UST V2, Aldila NV, Fuji 692 and Graphic Design YS-6. All stiff, all similar in specs - HUGE difference in distance, ball flight, trajectory... GD YS-6 was the only one that "worked" for me...

Shafts will make a big difference. Some would say that the shaft is as important, or more, than the clubhead itself. I like the shafts that they are putting in the TaylorMade drivers right now. They fit my swing pretty well.

Oh, and since we're on the topic of this driver...Rafi, check out my sig now.

Fairways and Greens.

Nice ! You finally catching up to the 21st century
Kind of surprised to see the hybrid though, especially since you carry 3i - don't you hit it up to 240?
check my sig too - looks like I'll be switching sponsors (I might keep the Taylor Made head cover though..)
