Just Bought Tiger Woods PGA 2010

What a fun game for PS3. They're actually on sale right now, all their PS3 games at Target, but anyways...this game was super fun!! They're missing Michele Wie though and Lorena Ochoa. Interesting...

How's the gameplay? That game seems to have gone from super easy to fairly difficult so I am wondering if they have come back a little to make it less tough.

Its actually pretty easy, I could figure it out :) but some parts takes a little getting used to, like the putting part. But its neat when you use the power swing off the driver, that's when you hit it perfect at 100%. The graphics are ok. Paula Creamer does not look like that in the game and neither does Natalie Gulbis, but it sort of works. But its funny because the BF was playing the game as Tiger Woods and when he got frustrated, he'd say, "Tigerrrrr" it was funny!! And if you do the tournament play, your coach is Hank Haney :) You can even put a picture of yourself in there as well. And then when you win tournaments you get cash prizes and you can buy golf equipment, clothes, shoes, hats, etc.

I had it for Xbox 360 then sold it when i beat everything and bought the Wii version- so much fun. I cant shoot in the 40's for 18 holes like on 360 but 50's is good enough.

Have you dropped the controller yet? hee hee, I've heard some people accidently throw it since you're technically throwing it or whatever

Not yet but i have a habit of forgetting to put on the wrist strap on so that is a possibility.

Have it for PS3...if you guys aren't playing on tour pro difficulty with live weather, you should be. Alot more fun cause it's not a gimmie. I think the game makes you mess up your swing sometimes :P

That game is a blast! Just make sure you have that extra little motion doohickey to out on the bottom. If you don't the swing gets really weird and does not seem to read your swing motion right.

I am thinking about getting a wii just so I can play this game. Would it be beneficial at all to my real life play? Do you really have to swing the proper way?

Proper? No. But you do need some swing-like motion. All that matters is that you square the "clubface" and that can easily be manipulated with the wrists. At least it isnt like other Wii games where all you need is a flick of the wrists. You still need to swing but if you make a swing in real life where you would chunk the crap out of it, the ball on the Wii will still go straight if the clubface is straight.

It is fun though, putting is pretty easy.
