I like teeing off either earlier in the morning, maybe like 8am. And I also like teeing off a little later, maybe like 3pm. I never really like playing when the sun is at its hottest.

the best time conditions wise for me is to tee off at 10am in the spring time... after the dew burns off...
the draw back to teeing off at that time is crowds...
as far as crowds go... the earlier the better... if im the first group out... watch out grounds guys... cuz we'll leave everyone else in the dust...
as far as money goes... cant beat twilight... unless of course its packed an play is slow

I like early morning tee times, in the summer it is not out of the ordinary for us to have tee times before 6:30 am. It seems like the course is fresh and unspoiled in the morning.

Conditions permitting, the earlier the better for me. I play alot of evening golf after work, so it's a refreshing change to go tee off at 630am in the summer. This time of year? Whenever it dries out a little, and it's not too windy is the right time.

It depends on the day/weather...during the summer time, we like to tee off in the middle of the day when its hotter than hot out :) Less people and its cheaper :) !!!

But when its like this, cooler, we prefer first thing in the morning!!

I prefer to tee off between 11:00 and 1:00. I like to play when the sun is at it's highest in the sky so it doesn't get in the way. I hate playing the holes in the early morning or late evening when you have to look directly into the sun.

Other than that minor thing, I really don't care much. Hot weather doesn't bother me that much so my ideal time is anytime I can actually get on the course and play.

I will judge my rounds much more by the quality of my best shots than the acceptability of my worse ones.

I'm a morning person. Love getting up early and getting out on the course. Usually, I just ask them what the earliest tee time they have open is and take that one.

Career Bests:

9 Holes--37 @ The Fairways at Arrowhead-Front(+2)

18 Holes--80 @ Carroll Meadows Golf Course(+9)

Home Course:

1) The Fairways at Arrowhead

2) Mayfair Country Club

A few times in the last year I got to the course before the sun was even up and teed off as soon as there was enough light to see. That's ideal for me. Golf is about the only reason I've ever gotten up that early for something I was looking forward to!

Anytime.......I actually like playing the later afternoon, especially in the summer. Tee off at 3-4 and you can still get in 36 if you are a relatively fast player. I have no real preference in the winter.

I like to make a day of it. Sleep in a little bit, get in about 45 minutes of practice and tee off about 11 am. Have some lunch at the turn, finish up strong, and get home by dinner!

I got to know the head pro well enough he allowed me to tee off before the course was officially open, in the heat of summer this meant around 5:30 and generally before 6:00. Besides having the course entirely to myself and generally putting my clubs away as everyone else was unloading theirs I got to know the mowing crew well enough they would generally stop to chat with me and as often as not give me a few of their found balls to try out.

What is your favourite time to tee off?

Depends on what the greens fee is. Over 50 bux I'll wait for twilight, otherwise I like 8:30 to 9:00 o'clock.

I like to play late in the day. My work does not allow me to get home to 6:00/7:00 pm most evenings, so I get out late. Just before dusk is my favorite time to be out.
Same on weekends. Outside of my Saturday skins game which is at 8:00am, I normally go back late in the day and play again.
