I am looking for opinions on the Mizuno MX 25 irons. I've really just starting playing again this year and want to upgrade from the Wilson starter set I have. The MX-25s can be found for around $250. I don't think I have the budget for new clubs this year. I've hit the Mx 200 and 300 and I like the feel.

Thanks in advance.

I've got the MX-23 and I really like them. They are a lot easier to control than the starter set I replaced with them and the subdued non-flashy appearance is great. I imagine the MX-25s would be similar.

In the bag:

+1 on this. MX-23s are probably cheaper, and every bit as good

I've had my MX-25's for 2 years and I love them. Great forged feel and forgiving too. The MX series are a good choice for mid handicaps imo.

Great set of clubs. One thing Ive found though is there is a big "gap " between Pitching and SW. A 50* gap wedge is a must.

Enjoy

My set I got off of ebay just came in the mail and I am stoked about hitting these. I paid $225 for these 4-GW. I used to play Ping G2s.

I'll give my review after I take them to the indoor range. Unfortunately, I won't be able to play any rounds for a few more months yet as there is about a foot of snow everywhere .
