Big Ben had 503 yards... but that was over shadowed by the fact that he thew yet another game winning TD pass as time expired. It looked a lot like last years final TD of the Super Bowl, only on the other side of the field.

The Packers played really poorly. The defense played great, but Rodgers had an off game and the running game just wasnt there.
Kudos to the Packers for winning, but youd be fooling yourself to think that the Steelers are back on track.

I was at a hockey game. I looked up the score on my iPhone, and got home in time to rewind the buffer on my DVR to see the Steelers kick a field goal, kick the STUPID onsides kick, get scored on, and then go down the field and win.

Kudos to the Packers for winning, but youd be fooling yourself to think that the Steelers are back on track.

What a difference a year makes. Last year the Steelers don't give up 22 points in the 4th quarter - I don't think they gave up that many points in all 4th quarters combined . Onside kick against the Pack just goes to show they have absolutely zero faith in their defense. At least Mike Wallace can make a clutch catch with a difficulty rating of 10, compared to Yancey Thigpen who gave the Pack a gift in '95.

I wouldn't go that far Steelers shouldn't have blown the lead late in the game. And the no-call on James Harrison being held was so blatant, I couldnt believe they missed it. You're right though, Crosby needs to go. He's getting into the Nick Folk zone now. Still, great game yesterday, though neither defense really were as impressive as they should have been.

Those stats you are quoting for Rodgers are mostly from the 2nd half of the game. The Packers couldnt move the ball worth a darn in the first half. Again, the Packers should have won that game. If Crosby didnt have a case of the shanks, if the recievers and the defense didnt have a case of the dropsies and if they had been able to get the running game going the Pack would have blown the Steelers out. Thats a lot of "ifs" though and its not what happened, so it doesnt matter though.

Thanks much, I needed a good laugh. Re-read your post and try to be objective. I'm sure you would find it just a smidge amusing. That paragraph almost had as many "ifs" as the Redskins would have needed to make the 1940 NFL Championship a game.
