Well... it's going to be 52 (11.2) tomorrow... not the 75 (24) you get, but not too bad.

I would gladly be here in NC with a mild winter where I can still golf several times a month rather than in Egypt. Just my preference, but I like it here and our springs and falls can't be beat... or summer mornings for that matter.

I picked my favorite place (if it must be one place) too live and moved here.

Now in a perfect world I would live in Northern Michigan all summer, North Carolina (Pinehurst area) during spring and fall, and in Arizona in the winter... as well as spending two weeks at my time share in Colorado during ski season.

My Clubs: Callaway FT-i Tour LCG 9.5° w/ Matrix Ozik Xcon 6 stiff; Sonartec GS Tour 14° w/ Graphite Design Red Ice 70 stiff; Adams Idea Pro 2h(18°) & 3h(20°) w/ Aldila VS Proto 80 stiff; Adams Idea Pro Forged 4-PW w/ TT Black Gold stiff; Cleveland CG12 DSG RTG 52°-10° & 58°-10°; Odyssey...

You can't get the best of everything. Life here is certainly not as easy and comfortable as in the US, but at least we can golf all year.

It's supposed rain a lot Saturday up here. Hopefully that'll wipe out some snow. I can't stand New England, but somehow I just don't want to leave.

Our team won 1st place with a net score of 17.2 under par (gross 9 under). Less than 1 stroke seperated us from the 2nd place team who scored an amazing 15 under par gross. I got a birdie on the last hole and that's what got us the match!!

(and it was sunny most of the day )

It's mid 30's F here and if it's not under the snow,it's covered with ice! I'm usually able to practice at home(drive into a net, put in the house). my back yard is long enough to practice my short game 120 yd. long by 50 yd. wide but the snow is too deep to find anything I hit. I'm trying to teach my Labrador retriever to find and return my shots, but that's not going well lol.

    • Day 159 1-19 Flow drill while attempting to add arch in wrist on downswing. Not where it needs to be but felt good working on swing flow.
    • Day 1 (19 Jan 26) - after a week lay-off due to travels, felt great to get in some drills in the backyard today.  Started with lead arm only short pitches focused on squared face and light divot post ball.  Haven’t done this in a while and it showed, with some skulls and slices.  Settled into easy flighted balls - wrapped up with standard two handed swings.  Good restart to the daily drills.
    • That depends what you do within those two.  Are they your only options?   Check out Fit for Golf if you get a moment.  It's linked on the sidebar;  I did it for two years, stopped for a really bad reason, and I plan to get back to it soon.   Mike Carroll also has a great free podcast about a lot of topics in golf fitness.
    • Day 19, 1/19.  Finished work in time to spend 25 minutes hitting balls (hit 15) indoors, off a mat, into the net.  Usual focus.
    • Day 30 - 2026-01-19 Got 10 minutes in on the mat / net working on exagerrating movements I'm working on. And grip. Also worked with my friendly AI to summarize key negative tendencies I have so that I can build a personal checklist to follow. Will do more mirror work tonight.
