Currently I have been playing with steel shaft with weight just above 100 g. It feels a bit heavy and when playing 18 holes, I get tired too soon.

I used to play with graphite shaft with 86 g of weight and it feels too light.

So my problem, how do I get the right shaft weight for my iron?

Getting custom fit will help you find the right shaft. I'm guessing something in the low 90s is what you're looking for.
Depending on you swing speed you will benefit from different weights.
My swingspeed is not very high (low 100s) but I play with a shaft that weights 127g because it gives me the trajectory and control I'm looking for.

You describe a similar problem I had a couple of years ago. When doing fittings, my swing speed and ball flight always called for a 110grs Regular steel shaft, but the truth was that the weight proved to be too heavy the last four or five holes.

I also came from playing 85gr graphites.

I have been using KBS Tour90 Regular shafts for the last year and I am extremely happy with the weight and my performance the last leg of the round. I have also extensively used the N.S. Pro 950 GH Regular with the same results.

Please don´t swing while I´m talking !!

Do you have time for any kind of a training workout? A strength + power workout might give you extra juice if you otherwise like your irons and shafts. If graphite felt too light, a couple of times a week in the gym might give you a boost in swinging your present irons. Cold weather would be a good time to start.

Easy answer, swingweight. You can get a club with a light shaft, but swingweight it so it feels heavier. Swingweight is a major part of fitting, and most good fitters will make sure all of your clubs (except the wedges) have the same swingweight.
