His 5 iron, if you recall, deflated on 9 after he hit a tree root in his downswing."

I'll just get a shot of NO2 from the local Dentist ......could keep it in my thermos.

Sorry you feel that way Shorty, I also got the nitrogen filled irons and dropped my Hcap from 21 to 13.

BTW, the newest version of the irons made the Golf Digest Hot list this year...and Powerbilt doesn't advertise in GD.

You may think it's gimmicky.  I 've been playing golf for 52 years......Powerbilt has great equipment...they just don't have the Ad budget like TM, Callaway & Nike.

They put their dollars into research and are producing quality affordable equipment.

And I heard somewhere they put a few dollars into iron replacements due to faulty shafts.

Yeah, three of the graphite shafts snapped at the hosel after 3 months weekly use.....PowerBilt replaced the entire set at no cost to me......It's been over 6 months and no more issues...

I traded a couple clubs for the Cobra S2 driver...same loft as the Powerbilt...Even though the Cobra is a half inch longer at 36", the Powerbilt still reigns supreme.

Still gaming my Powerbilt Air Force One!

I traded an old SC putter & a Cobra L5V for a Cobra S2 driver with 46" shaft and it adjusts from 1.5 open to neutral 1.5 closed ......it hits well, but not as well as the PowerBilt!

If anyone ever asks me about PowerBilt clubs, I can honestly say they have a small cult following.
