I post again after the round to share how it went.

Today I played a 9 hole course par 32 and shot 39. Not bad considering I had 4 three putts and it was my second time playing this season. The Mizzy's were so pure, deadly accurate my ball was pin seeking on just about every shot. However i did lose about 5 yards which is not a big deal because i gained 10 yards from last year with the Macgregor's I perviously used. I am very happy with the 68's I can work the ball right to left very well and am pleased at how my shots were going right at the hole. The forgiveness is good to for being blades, distance wise was only about 5 yards less on a okay shot, directional forgiveness seemed good because I didn't lose any balls way left or right.

You're a diehard blade player huh? From MacGergor to Mizuno. You must be a big dude to handle those X100s too! Those things must feel incredibly strong and solid.

New stuff is great fun! I'm getting new clubs delivered periodically throughout the next two months. Exciting times!

This is actually my first set of blades the McaGregor's I was playing were the MT forged which were considered to be a players cavity back but the were more towards a game improvement iron.
