got a video of my driver today
for the life of me cannot hit it consistently in a round
what do you guys think??

For starters your ball position is way too far back. Try positioning the ball just inside your left foot.
Driver: Taylormade Tour Burner 9.5° | Fairway Wood: Adams Speedline Fast 10 15° | Irons: Mizuno MP-57 3-PW | Wedges: Cleveland CG11 52° 56° 60° | Putter: Odyssey White Hot XG Rossie

As the guy above said, your ball position needs to be way farther up. Just inside the left foot.

Now I'm not one of those anti S&T; people who say you have to keep your back leg flexed (i'm actually quite pro S&T;), but I think you might be a bit too extreme. Your right foot looks like it almost locks, and your left leg REALLY breaks down. Because of this (atleast it's part of the reason), your head moves a lot, both laterally and rotating. Then because your lower body was so out of control on the backswing, it is pretty wild on the downswing and your head dips a lot.

I would suggest trying to just tone everything down. Try to keep your lower body much more still. There's no problem with your back leg straightening some, just try to tone it down. This should for the most part keep your head from rotating so much. Then on the follow through, make sure your head doesn't dip so much. Maybe think about driving your hips UPWARDS, as well as forward.

Those were just my thoughts looking at your swing. Hope it might be of some help even though i'm no pro ;D

Your head moves back with your backswing (0:08), and you are having trouble getting your weight left through the swing. You also dip quite a bit to start your downswing.
I slowed your video down in V1 and it looks like you are chicken winging with your left arm after impact (i.e. casting, flipping, whatever). Try the drill where you hold a golf club across your chest, turn right (90 shoulder turn), and then turn left (facing target line). Make sure you start in a standard address position. This should give you the feeling of a proper hip and shoulder turn and has helped me immensely (as I'm a feel player). Good luck!

[*jamaican accent* you ain't got de rhythm mon.] your upper body and lower body are disjointed. they should work together in one flowing motion. your hips stop in your downswing, they should never stop. you've gotta get your body out of the way so your hands can get through freely so you can release the club at the ball and extend through it.

id try to keep the 'triangle' in your arm a bit more on the back swing, personally Id say you bend the right arm to early!... only my opinion!

that might actually be the camera angle b/c thats one of the first things i setup with

you know whats funny, i dont do this when i hit my irons but i lose all sense of form when i hit my driver didnt realize to what extent my left leg pretty much looks like jello ill definitely concentrate on keeping it more stable

thanks for all the tips!!
this is the first time ive recorded my swing
its amazing how much you can pick up

What's the problem? You hit the perfect drive...bounce it down the cart path and get an extra 100 yards!

If what you felt and what was real were connected, maybe. Your head is way behind the ball at adress, so it looks much further forward than it really is. I place my ball with a driver outside the left toe... at least that's what it feels like. It's actually inside the left heel.
