Odyssey White Hot XG vs White Hot Tour

I am very interested in the white hot rossie putter. I have tried out the XG quite a bit at golf galaxy and the Tour model at a local shop that has a small green. Does anyone know major differences between the two models. I know the tour model has a heavier head at 355g compared to 335g for the XG (34" length). I've also heard that the two have different inserts with the tour model being a little bit firmer but I can't really find anything to back that up. Has anyone tried both the White Hot XG putters and the White Hot Tour putters? Any insight on the differences between the two would be great.

I have tried both...I ended up buying the non tour version for the price I found online...I can't complain with either one. Bottom line for me was the price tag...I love the feel of mine.

Did you find that the feel was similar? I guess I'm the opposite of you because I'm finding the tour model to be cheaper than the XG. Where did you get yours from?

I think they feel virtually the same with relatively minimal difference in feedback. the tour seemed only a bit firmer on longer putts than the XG...just my 2 cents

Just got the white hot rossie putter and love it. I tried the tour too and the XG just felt better to me. I suggest getting the one that feels better.

Driver: Burner
Hybrid: Burner Rescue 3 19*
Irons: FP II 4-GW
Wedge: 56*
Putter: White Hot XG Rossie

      I’d go with the Titleist if you liked the look of the blades but were suffering with distance. They should be a little more forgiving than a full blade and still retain some workability. Also remember to consider the shafts each have as this will be a big contributor to how they feel. Clemsonfan is right though… get fit or spend a bit of time on a launch monitor 🤙

      Hi All my New Year’s resolution was to start playing golf again. I’ve caught the bug and am really enjoying hitting balls at a couple of my local ranges.looking forward to getting back out on courses in the spring. Based in the UK and 38 years old, I’ve been playing since I was a kid. Best handicap I’ve held is 2 in my mid 20s. Over the past 10 years I’ve played once or twice a year, sometimes with friends or for work. Could shoot 4-5 over, but just as easily shoot 15-20 over. I’ve moved to South Wales and am very lucky to be near some world class links courses, which gives me even more motivation to get playing again! I will start looking for a local coach in my area when I have more time to invest, but I recalled scouring this forum a few years ago and finding some good tips and advice so wanted to give it a try to see if there were any glaring issues I could fix in the meantime!  A few swings below… one from 1st week Jan and one from today. I have fixed my P1 takeaway to my liking and am now working on what I see as pretty severe early extension & hip thrust. Also terrible hip rotation. I’d like confirmation that this is indeed a problem and and suggestions on a few good drills. Thanks for reading 🙂 I've been Playing Golf for: 30+ years My current handicap index or average score is: 10ish over My typical ball flight is: mid The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: push right with irons, hooks and push with driver!  Videos:
