Steve and Tiger have grown close over the years. I think Steve's support and friendship has contributed greatly to Tiger's success.

he's taking the tournament bib off on the 18th hole every time Tiger wins.

I've never seen or heard of him doing this before it was mentioned this week. Maybe you can cite a few of the incidents and elaborate a bit on why it may be offensive to fans or players.

Have PGA or USGA officials taken note?

I

Besides, 40+? Even you know Tiger's now past 50 (to 52).

He hasn't been on the bag for all of Tiger's 52 wins on the PGA Tour.....

But to the point in question. A caddy taking off his bib?? Meh, who cares. Tiger won, Stevie got a nice pay day. That's all that matters surely - and if his sponsors got a bit more coverage then he's done his job quite well. So yeah, who cares.

The Buick Championship. The PGA Championship. He even did it at the Western (which Tiger didn't win).

And to the person who pointed out that Stevie wasn't on the bag for all 52, yes, you're right.
Steve also knows Tiger well enough to know Cink had more chances to win than Tiger usually gives opponents in the first 3 playoff holes, and that Tiger was not going to let it go past the fourth. Confidence Steve has in Tiger developed by 10 years of proving it.

This was before any of the playoff holes. This was on #18 in regulation.
