HELLO, iam pleased to tell all of you that the r9 supertri being less then 3 weeks old is now outdated! as we speak the (R9 SUPERDEEP) is being made and released in japan along with the (R9 FORGED IRONS) and are due out in june congrats for falling into the cess pool of a scam that is TAYLORMADE GOLF!

p.s the r9 supertri is basicly the r9 460 with the movable weights. now this driver is the r9 supertri with a few millimeters of deeper face.

and to top it all of the price of this baby is going to be.......... NOT $400 BUT..............$600!

Not sure where you've been, but I saw the Superdeep at a Golfsmith over the weekend. There were already spy pics of the Superdeep before the Supertri even came out.

Really nice *looking* driver, but I'm not blowin' six bills on one. I probably don't have the swing for the RIP anyways...

There's a huge difference between the RIP shaft and the TaylorMade F1 Motore. The RIP shaft probably has a retail price of 200/300$, which explains the higher cost.

The SuperDeep is not the successor to the SuperTri, they are different clubs. The SuperDeep is the 909D3 to the SuperTri's 909D2. Also, the SuperDeep is already available in the US.

let's beat a dead horse some more.... Seriously though, the intended player for the R9 Supertri and R9 Superdeep are quite different. The superdeep is most like the 510TP, a pear-headed and deep faced tour driver from TM almost a decade ago.

In the Bag: TaylorMade R11 TP - TaylorMade R7 TP TS - Cleveland Halo - TM TP 2009 3-PW - Vokey SM 52 - Vokey SM 60 - Rife Barbados CS - ProV1x

    • Day 47: simulator day! Played St. Andrew’s and shot a +1. Not bad, especially with having to putt at this simulator set up. Had about 5 minutes at the end to work on some feels as well.
    • I think you're saying it's preposterous to think that the areas on this club are anything like what's shown here: 30mm toward the toe or heel loses only 5% distance? Highly, highly doubtful. So a guy who hits the ball there and normally hits the ball about 250… will hit it instead about 238. By missing the sweet spot by about 1.2 inches? Highly, highly doubtful. Heck, the high heel barely gets into the red, and orange is only "up to" 10%! @M2R, I've never heard of "Ask Golf Nut" but I'm dubious of his claims in the video and really, really dubious of what's on his site: "Why AskGolfNut Is the Most Trusted Data-Driven Golf Resource". Hmmmmmm.
    • Day 151 1-11 flow work today. I've been doing all pause work, so Inwanted to get some rhythm going. Recorded.
    • a) No b) This MLR says: I doubt the MLR is going to affect their weekly league games, in other words.
    • So the question was posed today by some of my friends.  Is a pitch mark the same as a divot?  I thought NO, but they argued if your ball lands in another player's divot (made by club during a swing) this was the same as a pitch mark, i.e. the ball mark made when the ball lands
