My last 4 rounds have been 84, 95, 79, and 82. Im really hitting more greens and I even hit my first 300 yd drive of the year today. Everything is jellin my man! When I joined TST in August I was a 19....today I am a very proud 12.7! My goal for 2010 is to get to a single digit so Im on pace per my resolution. Hopefully the good play keeps on coming!.....I am jsut really excited and had to share.

Went out again and dominated today! Shot an 84...while that isnt my best score, it was my best differential (9.9) because I played from the tips. I even had a damn double and a triple. I love this game. Dropped my HI 3 strokes in the last month!

That's awesome! I've been having similar success (at least, relative to my handicap). I've been able to drop from a 23.0 to an 18.9 since April 1st.

Keep up the awesome shooting!

Nice CY! I remember just working on a few aspects of my game, ie: putting and chipping and I got below a 16 fast. Its amazing how much your scores can change when you eliminate OB shots off the tees and 36+ putting rounds.

Those are exactly my issues. My putting is horrible and it's been killing me (35 - 40 putts per round) and I STILL have the one or two holes where I blow a tee shot OB. I HAVE eliminated the topped tee shots and the majority of the topped or fat shots from the fairway and rough.

Looking forward to being in the 16.0 range fairly soon... I hope.

as an 11.9 index, is it highly possible for you to shoot a 77?
just curious, as i lost a match play to an 11.3 this weekend (with full handicap allowances)
he shot a 77 on the final round to close me out on the 16th
my CPGA index is 3.3 and his is 11.3, so he got 8 strokes on me

maybe a tough question, but i find it hard to beleive that an 11.3 index, from 6400 yds, rated 69 on a par 71 can shoot 77
when his best score recorded in the past 12 months, was 79 on a shorter course and rated lower

sorry...just a little burned, thats all!! hahha!

    • Day 24: did a stack session. Worked a bit on downswing feels during breaks.
    • Day 444 - 2025-12-18 Light day of hotel room work. GEARS Summit v2.0 today. Good day.
    • Day 38 (18 Dec 25) - got out in the backyard with grandson this afternoon.  We got into a little game of pitching the ball from about 25yds to a target point just off the asphalt lane behind the backyard.  Goal - just clear it with a quick hop and stop.  Focused on using the wedge swing motion I was talking with the course pro yesterday….smooth and thru just bruising the grass.  In addition to a concentrated focus on technique, it also called for a quiet mind locked in on target point.  Rehearsed this with both the 50° and 55° wedges.
    • I listened to the Shaun Webb one about the swing coach app. Sounds like a great thing and will (hopefully) be very useful for me. I do think the hosts are underestimating where AI could be in a few years. Right now it's just regurgitating stuff that it has been told or it has scrubbed from somewhere else and a human guiding things will be quite a lot more helpful than just the AI, but it's going to keep developing and it will reach the stage where it's figuring this stuff out on its own. Time will come when it will have you do a TPI style screen and take various height/arm length/leg length etc. measurements, have you tell it some history and your time constraints and goals and what not and it will watch a video of your swing face on and DTL and it will know exactly what you need to work on.
    • I found it entertaining, but the announcing was lousy.  How did the measuring on the final shot start with Rory being closer and being told he won, and then with no explanation it turns out Scottie won?  Weird.
