I voted yes and I really don't care to watch any one team or athlete dominate anything. I turn to something else or go do my art work. Much more exciting to me. Thats just me tho and I respect others opinion of wanting to watch him dominate the field.

Then you should take your artwork and make the analogy -- Tiger's a master artist creating masterpieces before our eyes. Would've loved to watch Klimt or Dali create beauty on canvas. Same thing with Woods, except it's fairways and greens. And a lot fewer strokes ;)

I posted a 'yes'. Please don't pounce...

The reason: There is no doubt that we are witnessing history and that Tiger, like Lance Armstrong, is pushing the limits and taking the rest of us along. We're all striving to break 300 yards on a drive and other feats because, in large measure, of what is has been able to accomplish. He is demonstrating what can be achieved.

However, is it boring? For me, it is. I found Vijay's all time low on Sunday more 'interesting' than Tiger's win. Watching Colin Mongomery's facial ticks when he misses a putt and Sergio's leaps are much more entertaining and speak to the human element and character of the game i.e. compared to the artful mechanics of Tiger's play. His wins are predictable - to the extent that they offer no surprise, again, for me.

Am I still glad to be able to see him play and witness his accomplishments? Absolutely. Would I prefer to watch a three way tie between Mickelson, Garcia and Donald? I would.

what about when tiger doesnt dominate ... as if often the case when he only wins 25 % of the time... victory is never gaurenteed for him.... and he is often involved in exctiting tournments.... to the people who say he is not fun to watch... was the bridgstone play off boring to you ?

To gauge the entire country, check the ratings on Sunday when Tiger is playing and in the hunt.. The tour would love it if he was in contention every Sunday. Obviously, the country as a whole has not tired of watching Tiger win.

While it is exciting to anticipate the making of history, I find myself spending less time in front of the tv on sunday afternoons as tiger stretches his lead yet again over the field. So I can't answer a simple yes or no.

For me it's both...it's exciting to be a part of, and know that I'm witnessing golf history...but it also takes away from those heart-pumping back nine's with several players in contention down to the 18th.

I voted that it boring. It is not really that Tiger is boring. I have nothing but awe for his accomplishments. I watch golf on TV as entertainment. As far as drama, the collapse of Phil and others at the Open was mesmerizing. Granted this reveals a certaing lack of appreciation for great golf, after all this would mean train wrecks could be great entertainment also. I think that his talents as a golfer are so great that it is easy to admire him, but I am unable to identify with him. Great art can be admired, great entertainment involves the audience maybe?
