I think it's all about preference. I plan on getting a Callaway Diablo Edge Hybrid bag to match my iron set. I'm still using a Walter Hagen bag from a starter set. It's not a bad bag and I'm not rushing out to get the Callaway one. In fact I've seen some other Callaway bags that just didn't have as many pockets etc.. as my current bag. So for me at least, I like the bag to match some of my clubs, but it's not a must. It has to be the "right" bag. I won't just switch because of the name on the bag.

The past two bags I bought are just plain black. I intentionally wanted a non-branded/no-big-logo on the side bag. I found a plain black bag made by RJ Sports a while ago and just recently purchased a second 14-club divider plain black bag.

Black is a nice neutral color that matches most headcovers, towels, or anything else you might want to match color wise… And then I don’t have to worry about the name on the bag matching my irons/woods/whatever. I do like to carry a Titleist towel since I play Titleist irons. But that just a little quirk of mine, I guess. I’m proud of my clubs and like to “match” the towel with the irons.

I also like that my bag is plain black, towel is black & white, umbrella is black & white, and all of my head covers are black. Call me the Johnny Cash of golf!

It's funny you make this comment, yet you drive around with the name of the car and car company on the back of said car.

That's a good argument that got me thinking about what I actually posted. I don't mind the car make/model. I built an offroad trailer to pull behind my Jeep, and actually put the logo "Jeep" on it. I don't have the dealer's name on anything. That is the first thing that comes off. So, I'll have to clarify my claim to the billboard statement. I don't mind company logos on my belongings such as Jeep, Ford, Callaway, Taylor Made, etc. I don't wear shirts unless they are Polo or Izod, and they all have the logo on them. So again, I'm going back and stating that in my mind, a logo is not considered a "billboard" to me, just the representative retail outlet that is selling them. Sorry for not thinking the first statement through.

I currently use a Mizuno bag with MacGregor irons, Callaway fairway woods, and a TM driver. Doesn't bother me a bit. Granted, I have custom blue/white old school pomp pom head covers, a Mizuno wedge and a Mizuno Bettinardi putter, which, although being the black carbon model and having a black and yellow cover, I had to buy the white C series cover with the teal and blue stitching. Color-wise, my bag matches to a tee! LOL
