I just bought the Bushnell Neo golf GPS, which gives Front, Center, and Back readings. Am I correct to assume that the Front and Back data are fixed points, and do not change as you rotate around the green?

So if I'm over the green, the Back reading will actually read closer than the Front reading. Or if I'm off to the side they would be more of a left and right side reading. Is that right? I don't imagine that these units are sophisticated enough to give me the front and back readings precisely relative to my angle to the green, but I could very well be wrong about that.

As I understand it, you are correct. BTW, the neo is more than accurate enough for me.

The next time your at a green, try it. I would assume that they would stay fixed. But just walk behind the green and it the "back" of the green is reading closer than the "front", then your question has been answered.
