Apparently, Manny Pacquiao has agreed to the terms of random drug testing that has been pushing through by the Mayweather camp. If the fight is going to happen it will be the biggest bout in more than 30 years. It would be more like Hearns vs Leonard but maybe not bigger. I predict a pacquiao victory on this one.

This needs to happen. Pacquiao is definatly the most explosive fighter of his generation, but floyd is a much better boxer. If floyd and move and pot shot pacquiao would getting knocked out he would probably win a decison.

I have no doubt mayweather is wary of pacquiao, though. The blood testing thing was just his way of backing out of the fight. How are you going to back out of a fight for drug suspicions he had no evidence of and then fight a figther in Mosley who actualy has tested positive for a banned substance?

Hasn't Pacquiao moved up multiple weight classes and still knocked out most of his opponents? It would not surprise me to learn he is or was on roids.

This is how the rumor starts... Let's keep the unsubstantiated innuendos out of the discussion.

As for the fight, it's been a long time since we had a great boxing match.

The part about moving up multiple weight classes is not "innuendo", nor is the fact that he's knocked out champs (at the time) at 112, 122, 126, 135, and 140 lbs.

And since I specifically said him being on steroids wouldn't surprise me, it doesn't qualify as "innuendo" anyway. It's speculation based on real circumstances. It is convenient for your position to try to frame the discussion like anyone who brings up PED's is just starting rumors, but it's been a part of the discussion specifically for Pacquiao (it's the reason Pacquiao vs. Mayweather hasn't happened yet!) and generally for sports for years now. That's just how it is, sorry if you don't like it.

He was tested clean in in 10 urines tests conducted by the Nevada State Athletic Commision. Floyd Mayweather likes to play the PED card every time one of his fighters lose.

There really isnt any evidence to support a Pacquiao PED rumor. Every one of freddy roaches figthers have never tested positive for anything, and manny's move up in weight class is not out of the ordinary for a lightweight fighter. Tommy Hearns, Suger Ray leonard, Julio Cesar Chavez etc made similar jumps up to 147 after being lightweights earier in their careers. I personally think 140 is his most natural weight, but 147 are where the big fights are.

When fighters who have quick hands age and start to slow down a little, they go up in weight class to fight (usually younger) guys who are bigger but slower.
