He's hitting a difficult shot to during the final round of a Major Championship. Even then he's never motionless for more than 2 or 3 seconds.

yea he is, but he is known for taking along time before hitting, like 10 seconds. alot of times he is lining up his shot.

No, he actually isn't.

check out this video on golf channel about standing over the ball too long. They even say jack is known for standing over the ball for a long time, just like in the video above but he is lining up his shot, etc. Its about at 2:19 when they say "Jack Nicklaus, arguably the best golfer of all time, stood over the ball for a long time" and then they talk about it.

That's great. My point was that in the posted video from the '86 Masters, he pauses for a moment to consider the shot, then waggles and hits. He doesn't stand there motionless for the entire 12 seconds. Ps. Who the hell is "jack nickolas"?

oh ok, lol. yea I know he isnt motionless. I was saying "yea he is" as in yea he is taking a difficult shot in the final round of the masters but he is still known for taking a long time.

i dont know what you are talking about , I spelled it "Jack Nicklaus" check it again, did you change it or something

Nice try. "Last edited by motteler621; 4 Minutes Ago at 09:57 pm. "

I stand over the ball a while with no waggle and very little movement. I do not take practice swings as I find it better to visualize my actions before I hit it, so I still take much less time as others. I do tense up, but I lose the tension once I begin my swing.
