Rickie's popular with the young crowd. People be askin Tiger to sign Fowler hats at Chevron, you see that? He's in the Tour, not going anywhere. But I've had enough of the all-orange, skin included, look. Everybody's gotta have their 'Tiger red and black' Sunday outfits these days. It's not original. Rickie's got Puma to design anything he wants, so he chooses all orange. We get it, it's his university colors. Why not change colors every Sunday, kinda like makin Easter eggs. Yeah, and when you win, stick with that one.

It is hard to go against Mahans's and even Woodland's style because i think under armour has the best golf clothing line on the planet. I like Fowler's style but Mahan stands alone in my book,Puma does make some gnarly stuff to.

1. He's a kid. Kids have made dressing like a blind moron their thing since.... well, always.

2. He's a motocross racer. Trust me, it could be WAAAAAAY worse. (exhibit A: Jeremy "Twitch" Stenberg.)

LOL i think you went a little overboard with this pic.His clothes are fitted they are just bright. And the hat is just a style for the young guys, just trying to be a little hip i guess.

Most people have a problem with Fowlers style because it is unlike anything that we have seen in the past. To be honest I like his style, it's something that sets him apart from any other player on the tour. It has increased his exposure on the tour, with out winning a tournament and still won rookie of the year over Rory Mcilroy. You may hate his style , but he has most likely brought more exposure to the tour...You could call it the Happy Gilmore effect...non golf fans paying attention because of his style...It is good for the tour

They must be paying him well, that's all I'm saying :)

I know I'd need a lot of money to walk around on tv with that thing on my head ha ha.

His hat would look a lot cooler if he won a few tournaments.

    • Day 314 - Putting some things together. Better grip/setup, fuller backswing, better finishing position. Filmed some swings, happy with the progress.
    • Day 130: did a stack session.
    • Day 206 (24 Nov 24)  - An easy session with the 54deg wedge and hard foam balls / one simple goal - distance control thru backswing length while not decelerating.  Had a playing partner comment they noticed me decelerating on a couple short wedge shots in last round.  Hit from distances from close to 40yds down to 20.
    • Musgrove Mill hole #15 was converted to a par 3 after Hurricane Helene. Today, I had 145 from the tee which is a perfect 9-iron for me. I aimed just right of the hole and pulled it a few feet. Clanked off the stick down into the hole and ricocheted out of the hole 13’ away. Drained the putt for a birdie after repairing the hole which was damaged . Not sure if it would have counted as a HIO, but I was pretty excited!
    • Day 55 - 2024-11-24 Did five levels of Operation 36 on GSPro (different courses). 🙂 Was -4 from 200 yards (32) intentionally laying up on each hole (i.e. not hitting a 5I or something). Shot… 22, 24, 26 from 25, 50, and 100 yards. I forget my 150-yard score, but obviously it was < 36. Putting was odd… (and I did it with the wedge or a 7I or whatever was in my hand).
