Rickie's popular with the young crowd. People be askin Tiger to sign Fowler hats at Chevron, you see that? He's in the Tour, not going anywhere. But I've had enough of the all-orange, skin included, look. Everybody's gotta have their 'Tiger red and black' Sunday outfits these days. It's not original. Rickie's got Puma to design anything he wants, so he chooses all orange. We get it, it's his university colors. Why not change colors every Sunday, kinda like makin Easter eggs. Yeah, and when you win, stick with that one.

I remembered another player who wear a shallow brimmed doily hat - Major Champion Stewart Cink. The slightest breeze and that think would be gone off my head - and good riddance!! Give me a Hunter Mahan style chapeau any day!!

It is hard to go against Mahans's and even Woodland's style because i think under armour has the best golf clothing line on the planet. I like Fowler's style but Mahan stands alone in my book,Puma does make some gnarly stuff to.

2. He's a motocross racer. Trust me, it could be WAAAAAAY worse. (exhibit A: Jeremy "Twitch" Stenberg.)

LOL i think you went a little overboard with this pic.His clothes are fitted they are just bright. And the hat is just a style for the young guys, just trying to be a little hip i guess.

Most people have a problem with Fowlers style because it is unlike anything that we have seen in the past. To be honest I like his style, it's something that sets him apart from any other player on the tour. It has increased his exposure on the tour, with out winning a tournament and still won rookie of the year over Rory Mcilroy. You may hate his style , but he has most likely brought more exposure to the tour...You could call it the Happy Gilmore effect...non golf fans paying attention because of his style...It is good for the tour

    • Speaking of deniers... it's been several months since I've heard anyone say covid-19 is not as bad as the flu.  276,000 covid deaths later (vs. 22,000 flu deaths) and those deniers have gone silent. And speaking of vaccinations... I like the idea of the $1500 incentive to get the shot(s).  Though I think $1000 would get the same results.  I bet that incentive would move 70-80% of the anti-vaxers off the schneid.  Then we'd quickly get our herd immunity.  And I can remove this damn mask.
    • This is my 9i from my session this morning.  4 straight balls on the toe and finally 1 in the middle.  10 out of 20 shots on my 7i, 9, 6i & 8i all were toe today. Yesterday my first 8 balls were all toe on my 5i, 2Utility, 3Utility and 5 wood.   Yesterday I adjusted better and finished strong center ball striking. Today I moved closer to the center but still towards the toe. To me the Driver seams a little odd in the fact that I am consistently finding the center of the face.  Yesterday I was center to center low and today I was center to center high on the face.   Any ideas what to do to work on this would be appreciated One good thing about this, I will not be prematurely wearing out the groves of my irons
    • Shot 87 this morning, with 14 GIR/nGIR, 30 putts, and 1 penalty stroke. Looking at my card after the round I had a high event hole on each 9, for a total of +6  on those holes. Also had 3 poor pitch shots that landed short of the green, resulting in another attempted pitch, and if I had to guess, those cost me 3 strokes. Overall okay by my standards, as I work on my new feel.
    • ... and if you make the hole-in-one you'll have the biggest "I told you so" in history!
    • Good idea, reverse psychology.  It can't hurt, well as long you are not standing laterally of me when I am swinging my 6.  In fact, don't stand far far away when that club is in my hand
