54º wedge as bunker club?

(Possible plan: add 54º and 58º; several people say they find 58º much more reliable than 60º + LWs)

+1 for this...... I use my 54 out of the sand, love it I can open up the face, aim a little left and stick'em close...... I HATED every 60 degree that Ive ever had, 3 are in ponds at my local course, 58* is absolutely magic

i currently have a 50*, 54*, 58*, 62* set up(signature). i use my 62* from the sand about 98% of the time. i originally had a 52, 56, 60 but struggled hitting my current 60* from the fairway. i did some bending and bent my wedges to the current set up, both the 58* and 62* are great around the greens and from the sand.

I added a 50.08 wedge at Christmastime, and I really like it.

I have a 54 and 60*, I use the 54* most of the time and when I need some distance out of the bunker. My 60* is pretty much my bunker club and when I need little roll out. I practice with the 54* the most.

I use my 60* if the bunkers are firm.(54* just bounces off it and I end up hitting a 80 yard bunker shot OB)
if they are soft I use the 54* since the 60 makes a crater if I go too steep and the ball goes nowhere.

I am starting to use my 60LW as a sand wedge as well.
