Been thinking about getting the TP's for a long time...Put my order in with my specs to TMAG last week. just arrived today. all i can say is that they Look awesome, and are a joy to play with. on any lie they slice like a warm knife in butter. They are extremely workable and have excellent feel to them and not that bad on mis hits, feels like a blade mishit but the ball still stays some what on target. i ordered them with Dynamic gold SL's and they work great with my slower swing speed (driver 96mph) anyways i'll keep you guys posted as i have only played one round with em. So far, i am just in love with em!!!!

cool stuff. hit them tight.
I'll give you til end of the next season before you switch to the "REAL DEAL" - rac MB TP TMAG is like a drug dealer - you get the forged sample.. just to make you want more

man oh man, i was flipping a quarter to find out which to order. I figured that i would go to the cavity back just for the reason of an easier to hit club, but jeez these feel like blades but have a good amount of forgiveness for a TP club. Better for my game style too, as with school and work, its hard to get out more than once a week :(

You didn't pick the wrong club (actually - you wouldn't no matter which side the quarter would end up on

). Quite frankly except for improved feedback (mishits "ring" a bit lauder with MB's) - there is very, very little difference between them. I loved the TP's and I switched to MB's only beacuse I landed an incredible steal on eBay - I pulled them for $750 a week after they've been released (in-store pricetags were at $1200 back then). If I hadn't - I'd be happy with tp's as well.

    • Par is just a guideline, a reference for a hole or a course. At the end of the tournament the player that took less strokes to hole out is the winner, no matter how much it is against the Par of the course.  35 under par is not desirable? then change a few holes par.. make all reachable par 5's as par 4's.  Every hole below 350 is a par 3.. This will make those 7200 courses play "harder" with a par of 66..67.  (Ridiculous, let's just appreciate the amazing game this players have).
    • Didn't Mike Souchak (and possibly others as I'm just going by memory, but I'm pretty sure Souchak was first) shoot a 257 years ago?  It wasn't on a par 73, so it wasn't 35 under, but still.

    • Sounds like you're trying to prune gorse.  Seems as if gorse can actually throw its needles at anyone nearby!
    • BTW - The bush was ugly.  Anyway, in an attempt to add some clarity the ball was under some of the branches of the bush. But the bush was shaped in such a way where a left handed player could have played the shot without hitting any of the branches. A right handed player would have no chance. Thus my buddy/opponent I think was "reasonable" in addressing the ball with a flipped over 7 iron as he could have hit it lefty. .... There was, however, no guarantee that he would get good results as I've actually never seen him try to hit a ball in that manor in all the years I've played with him.
