I'm coming back to this thread cos I've now played my second 18 since getting my Burner SF 2.0 Driver and 3W.

Firstly, this thread got majorly derailed before because of numbers and people not believing what others were putting up and yada yada. I don't see what someone could hope to gain by lying on the forums anyway. people want to know about clubs and how they perform and I believe some people are giving honest accounts.

I just want to reiterate how unbelievably insane the SF 2.0 3W is. It has become the best club I've ever owned. I pulled it out the bag on the tee box 6 times today and hit 6 fairways. I played at a local muni course and I played of the yellow tees, the longest the course can be. 16th hole is a short par4, 313m (i'm south african, we use metres, so thats 342y. It has a big tree just left of centre of the fairway. I hit the 3W with a slight draw. When i got to my ball I used my sand wedge choked up and bumped it onto the green. I couldn't have been more than 60m (65y) from the green.

The next hole is a very tough hole, stroke 2. par 4, 356m (390y). the whole left side is thick with trees ending in a huge thicket of bamboo. if you're stuck behind that you have no hope. It's a dog leg left. on the right it clears up but you have to clear quite a large clump of trees to get there. The only other option is to hit absolutely dead straight. I aimed out over the trees on the right and wanted to draw it back to centre. Prob hit the best connection I've ever felt in my life. Walking to my ball, I cruised past the 100m marker and my ball was pretty much dead between the 100m marker and the green. Which leaves me with a 50m chip which by my calculations means my tee shot went pretty much 300m. I even took some photos on my phone in relation to where the 100m marker was and the green because I knew people would have a hard time believing me. Every now and then you can really crunch a shot and it really can fly these distances. Regardless of what the pros are doing. I by no means average 300m off the tee with my 3W. But I didnt hit a single one shorter than 240m today. For me and for my swing, the SF 3W is really that good. my confidence with it is through the roof at the moment.

Talking Driver, on the par5 15th which is 456m I hit a 7i into the green for my second. my tee shot left me bang on the 150 marker with the flag at the back of a green protected by bunkers, equating to a 300m drive which is around 328y. Par 4 13th, 366m, i was left with half a sand wedge onto the green.

Bottom line, these clubs are amazing. Obviously they won't work for everyone's swing, but I am finding that the length I'm getting is really something compared to what I've tried before. Even better is the consistency of the 3W. Nailing fairways with ease and when it comes out the sweet spot it feels like nothing on earth.

Whether people want to believe numbers or not, if you're interested in these clubs I highly suggest you give them a go. Especially the 3W. Then you'll know what I'm talking about. Stupidly good club. I hope you have as great an experience with it as I have.

Peace all

Ross

P.S. Broke 80 for the 3rd time with a 79! :) HC down to single digits now, 9. woop!

I got a chance to hit last years version of the SF last week.  I was away at a company event and had to go the rental route.   I wasn't particularly fond of the driver.   It's absurdly long and is as light as a feather.   It felt like I was just swinging a shaft.

Not a big fan.   I'd love to try this years variant!

Driver: VRS 9.5 degrees

Fairway Wood: 13 degrees
Hybrid: A3 19 degrees

Irons: i20's  Yellow dot

Wedges: Vokey's 52, 56 & 60

Putter: 2 ball

Ball: Penta; ProV
