what are your best tips for hitting low trajectory drives in windy conditions?

was that a real dog?

tee the ball down lower is what I do.
If you try de-loft the club you'll just mess up.

Put it in the middle of your stance too if you really want to hit a worm-burner

Tee the ball lower, slightly back in the stance, keep the flying wedge through the ball, push the hips more forward for a swing bottom more ahead and more delofting.

if you put it too far back in your stance you'll chop down on it. then you'll lose your ball.

^^what they said... i feel like if you dont want to mess with your swing or to reduce the chance of a major mis-hit, just tee the ball down

Playing the ball too far back can cause someone to get "stuck" due to a different impact position, but I doubt a better player would find himself 'chopping' at a ball.

For me, if I am trying to keep it low and playing it back, I'll stand a bit farther from it to give me a bit more space, and make a slightly shallower swing.

I never said to put it in the middle of your stance.

Taking more club is always a good choice. When hitting a low shot I always try to keep my hands low on my follow through. For me its really as simple as that.

For me i play the ball back in my stance, if its a long iron, i play it closer to center. Then i will take my normal swing, but then try to finish low and maintain the bow in my left wrist at impact, holding onto the finish. This will produce a low knock down shot.

this guy i use to play golf with in local tourniments in my hometown taught me how to do that. I don't use it much, unless i have an odd inbetween distance, i will club up one or two clubs and hit a knock down shot. Its a nice control shot

Played today in some serious wind.

For the driver I was hitting it middle of my stance and the ball just off the ground. I was hitting low bullets that would get a load of roll.
I just clubbed up in the wind for my iron shots and my woods go pretty low anyway so I didn't need to try go under the wind.
