So i got a set of MP-32's a while back, (i have had a few sets of these, and love em) and i cant get comfortable with the Pitching wedge.. i find myself at 145 and smashing a gap wedge or babying a 9 because i just cant get comfortable with it. I have pounded balls with it, and jsut cant figure it out. Im sure by now its so far in my head that i cant hit it well that i never will...

anyone else have a club like this?

Sounds like you may want to bend the gap wedge a degree or two stronger to allow you to hit that distance you want more comfortably. Then just add another wedge or something.

Same with me! My pw is my least favourite club to hit! I cant seem to get comfortable with it at address.

See if your pro shop can check the frequency of the PW shaft against that of the other clubs you're comfortable with. Check also the loft and lie angle, and how they compare. I bet there's something about the PW that makes it stand out against the rest of the clubs.

The PW sometimes has a different swingweight than the other irons, so it might be the different balance of your PW that messes with your swing tempo.

I've had a bad club... that SC putter just can't seem to get the ball in the hole.

Sounds like you know your game and equipment well enough to know when something isn't right. It might not be a bad idea to have the freq. lie and swingweight checked, to at least put it out of your thoughts. If it's all spot on, then take that bull by the horns and master it.

I got new irons in spring 2009. Had a terrible time with the X20 AW. At Christmas I dumped it in favor of the CG14 with less bounce. CG14 works great!

You might check out the PW on a lie board - maybe it's not a good fit for you and your swing.

i dumped my pw in favor of a 46* cleveland wedge, i find it plays more like a true wedge like i like. other than that i can't seem to hit a 3iron worth a lick.

I had a set with a bad 5 iron. It was an Adams Tight Lies set. That 5 iron just didn't fit with the rest of the clubs, and it seems like it wasn't designed right. That particular tight lies set sold very poorly, and it's almost extinct now.
