About a month ago, -4 after 17. Yanked two OB on 18 tee. "Welp, guess I'll try the 3 iron"

So smooth

Fore!

About 3 weeks ago... last time I played 18 holes. I was sitting on a 1 up lead through 15 holes. On the 10th hole (my 16th because it was a shotgun start) I completely topped the ball because my front foot slipped on the downswing... and my 3 wood went only about 35 yards or so. I hit a hybrid out of there into the fairway... put a wedge on the green but 3 putted from 24 feet to fall back to all square. Next hole, my opponent gifted me the hole when he played pinball in the woods while I made a bogey. 1 up standing on the 12th tee (my final hole)... I hit a 7 iron onto the green but it was 1 club too much. My opponent was all the way at the back of the green and his lag putt came up about 18 feet short. I absolutely BLASTED my ball 10 feet by. I figured he would miss his putt because it was a curler... but he drained it and my putt ran over the right edge giving him the hole and halving the match.

Complete choke job.

Awards, Achievements, and Accolades

Playing in the league, had to give 7 strokes to a fellow. Was pretty close, even with the disparity until 16. Hit a good drive, and a good 2nd leaving me 120 or so from the pin(par 5). Under a tree, so I dont want to hit a normal shot, so I try ot punch out and run up to the hole. Use a 6I and hit it flush. Goes way over and into the bushes. Have to take an unplayable, put it on the green from there and 3 putt for an 8. End up losing the match by 1.
