Does anyone have any suggestions for certain grips or a spray that will prevent the club from slipping in my hands?

It seems like every time I play golf its scorching hot out. My game is definitely affected by these conditions.

Get yourself some very hot soapy water and a fine wire brush, then scrub the grips, rinse, and wipe them dry. Good as new.

Really, Wire Brush? Wouldn't that shred the grips? I need to clean mine as well.

I use a toothbrush with the soapy water - gets it done.

There is also the Gorilla Gold Golf Grip Enhancer towel which looks to be a probable fix to the problem...

I have been dealing with this for a long time and I will only use the Tour Wrap grip from Golf Pride. I take a towel with me to play and get about 1/4 of it wet. I wipe my grip with the wet end and then dry it. I wipe my hands if needed. I then have a clean and tacky grip. I don't wear a glove and have never had a club slip. When I did wear gloves, they just got wet from the sweat so I had to rotate between two or three during the round.

Golf Pride full cord...they won't slip, and will rub your hands to s**t.

+1 LOL. Thats true, I just put Lamkin full cord on my irons and there is no slippage but they sure do make your hand sore after a round!

Back in my college days when I was too poor to re-grip, I used to just splash a little Pepsi on the grips and rub it in with my hands.......that said, I will defer to the idea of cleaning with a brush.

Golf Pride New Decade Multicompound are great. No slippage at all in hot weather, and not quite as rough on your hands as full cord. I wash them in warm soapy water with a scotch-brite pad every 4 or 5 rounds and they look good as new.

According to usga rule 14-3 you can use rosin. So I do lol. I have a bowlers rosin bag in my bag if my hands get sweaty
One I use, only 2 bucks. Hope it helps

A very fine lightweight wire or stiff nylon brush. Not like a heavy duty huge welders brush or side grinder.
