Well, I cracked my driver face on a shot last week. Too bad because I loved that driver. Anyways, I snapped and bought a used R9 supertri on ebay for 230. It only had a couple marks on the sweetspot. I used to have an r7 draw and loved the feel but did not really fit my game. I'll be disappointed if I cannot make this club work for me as it seems like it's a one size fits all. The only downside is that it doesn't come with a headcover or wrench, but I'll just borrow the wrench from my home range and stick on an old headcover.

That's 2 busted clubs in 2 weeks and 2 impulse buys haha. Don't tell the wife.

Nice buy. You should be able to find a proper headcover at a golf store.

As for the 4DX, where did it crack? I have the same driver. . . .

I bought a head cover for mine on ebay and a standard torx bit works on the weights just don't over tighten them. I believe the TM wrench has torque settings from what I have read.

It cracked across the top line, I guess that's 1/4 ball above the sweetspot dead center. Straight across those two grooves. I got that driver brand new, too bad Nickent's not around to replace it. Such a good club.

Anyways, I do hit the ball pretty hard so I'm inclined to believe I caused it. I'm gonna get crap for this, but as this season is going, I'll flirt with 315 once in a round, may it be some hill, or wind, it's still a long ways.

My driver goes a long way too, I will get it past 300 at least once a round, according to GPS. I tried a friends r7 and another friends g15 and they don't go near as far.

I love mine, so I hope it doesn't crack
