I will be traveling down to the Nashville area for a long weekend in early august. We are staying at the Sheriton Music city (stayed there before, very nice place) I would like to play some golf while we are there. The family that I am visiting lives in Hendersonville, so courses that are in and around that area are preferred (but I am willing to drive for the perfect golf course.

I will be playing with my father who is not a long hitter (I am average for my ability) so a course that offers tee boxes in the 6300 yard range is ideal. I don't need the best courses available, and would prefer to keep the green's fee's at $50 or under for a weekend round with a cart.

I have traveled to other parts of this fine country and always recieved excellent advice on courses in the past and hoping that you guys can come through for me again.

Thank you

In my bag:

some golf clubs

a few golf balls

a bag of tee's some already broken the rest soon to be

a snickers wrapper (if you have seen me play, you would know you are not going anywhere for a while)

and an empty bottle of water

I'm interested in this, too. I live about 2 hours out of Nashville, and would like to visit a friend up there and play some golf.

I lived in Nashville for 7 years while attending college and after graduation. It's an awesome place. It's full of private courses, but you can also find some decent public and munis. I will actually be traveling to Nashville this weekend to visit my friends that are still there and we are playing a tee time Friday morning at the Nashboro Golf Club. I've never played there before, but I've been told that it's a decent course for the money. I would recommend visiting golflink.com to find some courses.
