Good Deal? and Club Fitting

Currently at TGW.com , they have 15% off the highest priced item in your cart. I'm looking at Nike VR Full Cavity irons for $340 shipped. Was wondering if you guys think this is a good deal?

Also if I wanted to get the clubs fitted, would it make sense to buy these and then take them to a club fitting specialist or go to them first and get fitted and then get custom clubs. I'm just a little confused on the whole club fitting process. Thanks.

Yes, that is a great deal.

Get fitted before you buy the clubs.

you can do either, i believe tgw gives u the ability to order irons to your custom specs if wanted. either way i reccommend getting fit, look into cost of adding/subracting length, regripping, loft and lies, etc. i would choose the cheaper of the two options. a club fitter may give u a better insight as to what shafts and other things to help your game. i suggest would suggest talking to a clubfitter before any decisions are made.

Im really surprised that they are giving a discount on Titleist stuff too.... usually they are not allowed to be in a markdown program like that. Man I wish I had $850 to get those AP2's.

I think they might be coming out with a new iron set or something because I was surprised to find the Ap2's on sale at a local shop here as well for $800.

Really!!?!? Im waiting for the 710's to go on sale. I love them, but cant justify 3+ car payments worth the price tag lol
