Mizuno MP52 Dents in back

Hey all,

I purchased Mizuno MP52s on ebay like 2 weeks ago and maybe I'm getting overly paranoid, but is it normal for there to be a lot of small dents on the back of the clubs from clanking around in the bag? My old irons had a few but after 2 weeks there are a bunch of marks on my new irons. Just checking if anyone else with the MP52s or other Mizunos have a similar experience.

Throw up a picture if you can, but it sounds like normal bag chatter for forged irons. I have the 58s and they would be bad if I didn't put covers on them for travel.

Also sounds like normal bag chatter marks to me. I have the mx300s... I played a few rounds riding in a cart right after I got them and noticed it happening to my clubs. Now I used headcovers on the way to/from the course or if I'm riding in a cart. I usually walk though, so if I put my arm over the clubs I can avoid any clanking. I bought the cheap ones you can find on ebay that are clearly cheap fakes, but they get the job done.

Same for my MP57's you have to be careful with them or get covers.

Thats what forged clubs do...who cares...honest wear is not a bad thing. You can always have them re-chromed every couple of years.

I second the bag chatter comments. That's all it is. I kind of like the look of mine like that.

yea thats bag clatter on soft forged irons. iron covers FTW!! haha

Yeah that's what I figured. Thanks for all the replies. Since I started buying clubs off ebay I always just want to make sure that little things like this aren't a sure sign of knock off clubs or something. But then again if 60k+ good ratings isn't good enough for me then I don't know what will be =). Im just overly paranoid about this stuff.

so you would grap the set of dinged up irons over a brand new set on irons in the store
