Hi, longtime lurker and finally took the plunge. I first played in 2001, but never took it seriously until 3 years ago. I have been able to get from 36 to 21.2 in these 3 years, and finally broke 90 for the first time a few weeks ago, and was able to do it again the next time.

Looking forward to posting and debating with all of you....

Thanks! There seems to be a good sized contingent from the Volunteer State. We'll have to have a group outing sometime, LOL!

Welcome to the forum! Speaking of debating, how do you think the Titans will do this season? The last two have been weird for them, to say the least.

Realistically, 8-8 is what I see. A few good breaks will make them 10-6; a few bad breaks will make them 6-10. Too many questions on the defensive side of the ball , plus Chris Johnson is not going to have another season like he did last year (despite his bold predictions.) Defensive coordinators have been working all of these months to take him out of the gameplan, and make Vince Young beat them with his arm. Vince is still a kind of unknown, and the Titans don't have any receivers or tight ends that put fear in the opponent.

I'm hoping for the best, and will be there at LP Field cheering them on. But I'm not blind to reality.

Thanks Don. I'm a big Titans fan and I think you've very succinctly stated the problem - defense. It's not implausible that Chris Johnson could have a season like last year but I'm not holding my breath. On the offensive side I think Vince has matured somewhat but I have to agree that they lack any real superstars at the tight end or wide receiver position although their draft picks could deliver in that department. After a near comeback against Seattle last night I'm not expecting much since they shouldn't have let themselves get that far behind in the third quarter.

    • I like this guy’s channel. https://youtube.com/@brianlagerstrom?si=Mie9kX1g99n_RkVl   He used to work in a bakery. And he does a lot of recipes that require minimum kneading or use of a stand mixer.
    • Finished full speed spectrum finally after being sick a couple times..Come a long way since August, not too shabby at 53. Recommended neural drive next. My best gains were 200g and above for high percentile. I saw some gains in the 80?-165 range but the real light weights is not my strong area..
    • Lie many of you, I like to cook, but I've never tried baking.  But I keep seeing recipes, and finally decided to try a no-knead bread recipe, about as simple as it could be.  Its a really small loaf, perfect for two of us, and it turned out amazingly good.
    • My putter is also counterbalanced. I have a 100g weight in the grip. I read something back in the day about how counterbalancing can improve putter stability and I noticed that my putter was quite wobbly. I put the 100g weight in the grip myself and it instantly settled down. I totally believe it. I did read once that it can have a detrimental effect on your speed control, but my speed control when I'm actually playing is pretty good for the most part. I don't think I've ever heard LAB say that no putter that fails the revealer will be any good. All they've said is that if it fails in the revealer then it's not lie angle balanced. I don't think that's an especially unreasonable claim. You can argue whether lie angle balancing helps or not - they say they think it does - I can see an argument for how it could be helpful. It's marginal, but putting is also tiny margins so 🤷‍♂️
