Is there a good book that helps you learn course management? I understand the basics from watching the smart players on tour, but I'm sure there's more to it. It's not a huge concern for my game now, as I have yet to establish any consistency with my clubs on a real course, but find it interesting and would like to read more about it.

There may be a book on it, but the best thing is to simply learn from your mistakes and use common sense. If you're in the woods, and you have an opening to the green, but it's fronted by a pond, there is no reason in the world to try and hit the ball at the pin. Pitch it into the fairway and try to limit the number of strokes by playing smart. A hero shot makes you feel like a million bucks if you happen to pull it off, but if you put it in the drink (which in all likelihood, you will) you're bringing triple bogey into play.
