I've been a long distance runner for last two years, and noticed as my conditioning improved, my sweating was increasing. I went to doctor who told me that as you get more athletic your body becomes more efficient in cooling itself and causes you to sweat more to maintain a lower core temperture. I didn't buy it at first because when I was fat and out of shape I sweat alot, but after doing some research I found he was right. I wear a underarmour t-shirt under my underarmour golf tech shirt, does a good job wicking the sweat off my body.

Spot on-the fittest guy at my police academy didn't stop sweating for hours and hours after PT. But he was in great shape-so it balances out. I use a product called Sweat Block that I apply to my underarms once a week. Works extremely well 95% of the time at controlling that area. Unfortunately, summer golf in Arizona brings about all kinds other sweat areas to worry about

: back, head, neck, side of the head, chest, rib area, and of course the nether regions. As said above, wear dri-fit or equivalent when you can, stay cool, and wear a cool, wide brimmed hat. GOOD LUCK!

I sweat a lot and it doesn't have to do with weight. When I was in top shape bicycle racing and really skinny, I sweat just as much as I do now. Wear light loose wicking clothing and get a microfiber towel.

Avoid caffeine products before and during a round in hot weather......Or too much alcohol the night before.

It does make a difference.
