How do you approach the ball / your setup...put hands on the club

One area of my address that REALLY irks me and I am always uncomfortable with is my setup/address and getting in that position to begin with.

Every player is different..but it really affects me more when I think about choking up on a club. Usually I get my line from behind the ball, walk up to it, set the club down behind the ball with my right hand, then place my left hand on and re-do my grip while getting my posture setup.

Somedays...this works really well and I just feel "good" over the ball. Other days..I feel like a 20 handicapper (no offense guys) on how I feel with my hands, bend in my knees, weight, etc...

If you watch Tiger on the range, he will simply move the new range ball near his old divot, reset his legs and hands and swing...but in competition he looks like he gets his grip and position on the club while walking to the ball, and is able to place the club down with his grip already on it. I have tried this and seems like a process that I could at least emulate and be consistent with..but sometimes feels goofy. Other places setup with their left arm first, etc..

What do you do? Any low handicappers want to share their process and if so, do you feel its repeatable.

There are times I just can't feel right on the shaft angle at address. If I place the club down first, then reevaluate my grip..I am often gripping it at the highest point on the grip (no extra space)...but I don't like doing this especially if my clubs are 1/2 inch longer (Titleist 962's)..I am 5 ft 11, 165lbs.

Here is a video showing how I setup to the shot...(disregard the quality of the shot...its an old version of my swing)
