I read that Jim Furuk uses this grip and there are two advantages. One, it helps reduce the hand action of the right arm. And secondly it helps improve lag.

Is this true? Has anyone tried this yet? I will give it a try today. I have these exact two problems right now and hope that this grip will help.

I went through a bad funk with my grip in the spring. I tried moving from overlap to interlock to double overlap back to overlap. It was a nightmare. Anyhow, with the double overlap it worked rather well for me, however, I could never get the grip technique right as I would always get a blister on my middle finger on the right hand.
