anybody excited about mizuno mp 53 and 63?

Anyone here plan on buying the Mizuno Mp 53 or 63 when they come out this week? I wasn't a big fan of the diamond pattern at first but it really is growing on me especially on the 63's though I still prefer the 58 and 68's.

I think they are not in the 58/68 camp, but they will be replacing the 52/62 ..... may be it is better to wait for the 59/69 .......

Yeah those 59/69's should be out next fall I believe.I'm with you in that I prefer the 58/68 series over ther 52/62 I also prefer the 57/67 series over them as well,so I'm thinking that waiting would be wise as well.

With all the much nicer designs like the MP-62, MP-67, MP-68 I can not understand you prefer the MP-53/63 above the 710CB, hitting them might be different.

I tried the 710CB and they were about as hard to hit well as the 710MB, while the differences are larger in the Mizuno's. I can understand the diamond in the back, still there is not a significant enough weighting in the diamond as it seems more like a design thing than really some extra mass behind the ball.

Rumours on an upcoming 59/69 might lower the prices on the MP-68 ...... maybe a good moment to buy a set of these before they are gone, however I maybe like the MP-67 better...... but I am planning to play in some national senior tournaments next year, so maybe my grooves should match the new grooves rule.
