Extending arms so shaft is parallel to lead arm at address

I was just watching this video about Moe Norman's swing and was curious as to if this is a good idea or not. Obviously, it worked for him. I feel like my driver is not flat on the ground (my hands are too close to my zipper so the toe is up) and that more extension could help that.

But it seems like not many others do this. Obviously, it worked for Moe Norman.

I do this. For some reason, its just more comfortable for me to have the club leaning forward a slight bit. I'd say right between zipper and leftside pocket. makes sense in my head...my hands at impact is infront of where the club head is so I take address with my hands ahead.
