Turned it into a block.

This is only happening with the driver oddly enough.

Oh well, nice to see the right side of the course for once. At least the blocks are playable (for the most part), some of those hooks ended up in the weirdest spots. LOL.

Played 9 last night and I did hit a couple dead straight, which was nice...But I blew the others pretty far right - not nice. I was coming over the top when I was hooking the ball and I've been working on not allowing my club to get outside the target line on the backswing or downswing, although I think it does crossover the target line on the follow through. Maybe too much??

Basically I draw a mental line from the target through my ball. So when I look down at address this is what I imagine (the circle being my ball):

-----------------O--------------------

When I begin the takeaway the club traces along the line for a little bit and then comes inside, on the downswing I work on keeping my right elbow tucked and approach the ball rom the inside. Am I just overdoing it?...should I not subscribe to the "swing to right field" thought and just try to swing more down the line on the follow through?

Turned it into a block.

if you have an over the top swing hitting pulls..and you try to start coming from the inside its only natural in the beginning you will be hitting blocks. Just need to work on your timing and making sure your upper body isnt getting ahead of the ball.

I had the exact problem. I used to hook alot, then started to clear my hips earlyer resulting in a push sometimes slice.

Its all about finding a middle ground between what you did, and what you changed.

60 balls on the driving range.
