I'll bet tour players use drivers that are less than 45" - it would help them be more accurate.

From reading over the past several years, many Tour Players use 44.5 inches.

For me, 45.5 inches is too long ... 44.5-45 makes better center contact. Working w/ counterbalancing now at 45.5 in and it is better. But I feel more comfortable at 45 in.

43-43.5 in is 3 wd territory. With today's larger heads, 44.5-45 in and decent contact should not be a problem for most amateur speeds and a mid hc with the proper driver and decent swing.
