Sticking My Wedge in the Ground

Any one else ever dealt with this nasty habit? Lately my wedge shots seem like they are getting "steep", as I end up driving the club hard into the ground. I end up taking monster divots, often hitting well behind the ball.
What have any of you guys used in the way of drills to remedy this?

That's the funny part ... I do "brush" the grass on my practice swing, but when I go to make the shot, more often than not I might as well be swingin' a shovel!

My friend plays on our varsity golf team and taught me a little trick to help hitting shorter wedges and pitches. Take your normal practice swings, then leave most of your weight on your front foot. Take the swing you'd normally take for that shot, and the ball may have a little bit of a lower trajectory than normal, but I can personally guarantee that you will not chunk it. Hope this helps.
