If you like your 3 iron, and hit it well, then get a lob wedge. If you don't then get a 3 hybrid, and also get a lob wedge (60*)

Driver: Ping G5 Graffaloy Pro-Launch Blue 10.5*
2-Wood: Taylormade R9 TP 13*
3-iron: Titleist 609 CB
4-PW: Srixon i-701
Wedges: Hogan apex blade 50*Vokey Spin Milled 56*Cleveland 588 60*Ball: Whatever I find.

I would throw in a 60 lob wedge.

BTW, I recommend scratch!!

I rather use a 5 iron than a 3 iron for a second shot, 20 yds can mean a lot !!!

You can't 'forget' about getting '250 yards' down the fairway with a 4 wood. It can easily be done. Your comment was beyond irrelevant, referring to iron gaps instead of wood gaps.

What I Play:
Wilson Mini Stand Bag | PING G10, 10.5Β°, Proforce V2 HL S | PING G5, 15Β°, 18Β°, Aldila NV 75 S | PING G5, 19Β°, Aldila VS Proto By You 80 S
Mizuno MX200 4-PW S | Ping Tour W 50/12 X | Ping Tour W 58/TS X | A selection of putters, all 35.5 inches.

Lob wedge

Driver - VR str8 fit
3 wood - Burner 09
3 hybrid - Burner hybrid
Irons - VR split cavity S300 shaft
SW - CG15 56 degreeLW - VR forged 60 degreePutter - Studio select

I would say ditch the 56* and get a 60*. I use a 52* and 60* and really don't feel the need for anything in between. Then get a hybrid somewhere in the ballpark of 19*, but expect to take a little bit of time getting used to it.

In the  Strata Bag:

3 Wood:  XL

Irons: 4-5:  AP1; 6-PW:  XL

Wedges:  Tour Grind, 52Β°/60Β°

Putter:  White Hot XG #9

Balls:  Mojo

I could say the exact same for my 52*. I use 56* and 60* and when I do put my 52* in the bag, i rarely use it.

between all the shots I can make with my PW, 56, and 60...the 52 hasn't had much use for me.

I don't understand why these "stupid" questions keep coming, what other advise can you get than a Hybrid or 5W to fill the "gap" between the 3W and 3i or to add a Lob Wedge.

he could get a 64ΒΊ or a 2 iron custom made from titleist is he really wanted
