Typical ball flight is a push draw. Typical misses are straight pushes and pull hooks.

I suspect you really didn't need to put that up as slow motion.

Please offer any analysis/suggestions.

A few important things here but most important is to 1) get the handle more forward and start compressing the ball and 2) straighten the start line and limit the curve. First steps would be:

1) Left knee feels like it never moves (only flexes) and the left shoulder goes down a whole lot more to steepen the shoulder pitch and keep the weight more forward. 2) Weight moving forward onto left leg on downswing as hips go forward and OPEN UP a lot faster. He should feel both. The sense should be that he is sliding and opening his hips much faster. If you stop the video from both DTL and face on you will note that his impact positions look like setup (from DTL for example the hips should be at least 20 degrees open and the shoulders should "appear" square). There is nothing dynamic about them at all (in fact the setup position from face on would be a better impact position than the actual impact position). I don't say this to be mean but rather so he can have a look at what I am pointing to and improve on it. If he starts doing these things correctly the overdraws should stop for sure and he could even hit some cuts. At that point there is a next phase which includes getting the hands more in, etc. But these are the priorities to start with. Hope it helps! Dave

Thank you very much for the detailed reply. My folks live in the Persian Gulf, so good golf instruction is hard to find. I've shown my dad the folf evolution/evolvr site, and he's thinking about getting a video camera.
