Hello,
I have been playing golf for about 6 years now, and im sure everyone can remember the days of the Topflite Strat Tour Professonal. Well I continue to play this grand golf ball, and well I have been looking into trying a few new golf balls but time of year and current location keep me from doing this. If anyone has anything on the Wilson TX4 tour golf ball please post? If you have any suggestions for a player with 5 handicap, 112mph swing speed, 285 avg drives, control player, they would be well appricated.

Man, there is a reason that more PGA tour players play Titleist golf balls than all other brands put together. And it isn't because Titleist pays them more. Titleist balls are the best. ProV1 and ProV1X. Other balls you might want to try are the New Taylor Made balls and Callaway makes an alright ball.

Yeah, he is right.

I use the HX Tour from Callaway because I feel I can compress it better than I do the Titleists. At 112, your guy can compress Titleists.

The HX Tour has nice, predictable, consistant spin on the greens, yet still minimizes side spin off the longer clubs. Something I find more important than distance - but it is still long.

Eric reviewed the TaylorMade Red & Black & I am due to try the Long Black next.

I have a pro at the local golf shop that says most of these balls are too hard to compress during the cold winter temps we get here in Vegas & he switches to Maxfli Noodles when the Temp is below 50. Go figure.

there are a number of very good balls on the market now. you can't go wrong with many of them. over the past 6 years or so i have played maxflis, precepts/bridgestones, but i switched to the callaway hx tour 56 due to way it responds around the green, but titleist pro-v's, nike ones, and bridgestone b-330's are all great balls, any of them will do for you, i am sure. never played the new taylor mades so i can't say anything about them.
