Does removing badges from the back of clubs affect anything.

I have a set of Taylormade R7s that I am hitting amazing right now (of coarse at the end of the season) But the badges on the back of the clubs are all chipped up. If I remove them will this affect anything i.e. balance, vibration dampening, ect. Or should i just remove the paint.

not sure about the R7's, but some PING irons, the badges are weighted and removing them will affect the overall swingweight
i know lots of guys that have completely removed the paint on those irons and they look super sweet!

If it's just a badge or graphic, then no. But some clubs have that sort of stuff integrated with an insert for vibration damping etc. If you took those out, you'd probably materially alter the feel and performance.
